THE MICAH MANDATERUN FOR LIFE.Register
A morning on the move.
A community standing for life.
Run with heart. Walk with purpose.
Make a difference right here at home.
The Micah Mandate Run for Life brings Pensacola together in support of Safe Harbor Pregnancy Medical Center, the Pro-Life Doc, and other aligned pro-life ministries.
Rooted in the Christian calling of Micah 6:8, this is faith put into motion through justice, mercy, and humility. Whether you chase a personal best or walk with family, there’s a place for you at the starting line.
The baby pictured above is my daughter Sophie, just a few months after her birth. The young girl below is Sophie today. Standing beside her is Dr. Bill Lile, the physician who delivered her. Known as “The Pro-Life Doc,” Bill is also a member of The Micah Mandate and a past recipient of our Man in the Arena Award.
When I learned Sophie was on the way, her mother was at an advanced maternal age—a time when concerns about pregnancy can lead some to consider abortion. I had always been conventionally pro-life, but seeing Sophie’s ultrasound transformed that position into a deeply personal conviction. Here was my daughter, already growing, already part of my life. The cause I had long defended now had a face—and a name.
For years, I had run races supporting various causes. Now a question took hold: Why not run for life? Why not bring families, churches, and our community together to celebrate unborn children and support the mothers carrying them?
In 2013, The Micah Mandate’s Run for Life was born.
What began as a small race with a large vision has grown into a signature, family-friendly event under the leadership of our Race Director, Richard Murray. This January, we will gather for our 14th race, having raised well over $125,000 for the cause of life and the work of Safe Harbor Pregnancy Medical Center. We look forward to continuing that support and expanding it to other vital pro-life initiatives.
Every registration, every donation, and every step helps turn conviction into practical care for mothers and their babies.
For me, that mission has a face. Her name is Sophie.
For Life!
Todd Leonard
President, The Micah Mandate
